ARNOLD BENSON AKA ARNIE RIP MAY 9TH, 2010

Today we lost Arnold (Arnie) Benson head of Security for the Stilldream Gathering.

He was our main man who ran the gates to Stilldream every year starting in 2004 when we moved to Avery Ranch.

One of the first to greet people as they came through the woods from their long and arduous journeys. Arnie and Anthony quickly became part of the family as we all experienced a lot of ups and downs due to the high volume of stress and length of the event which only brought us all closer. It will not be the same without him.

A tribute to Arnie:
We’ll be creating a shrine to Arnie this year. He was fundamental in helping Stilldream grow and become what it is today. His attentiveness to detail and uncanny ability to take bad situations, manage them and come out on the better end of good will be sorely missed.

If you have anything to add to the shrine please bring it with you.

This years spot is a very spiritual area and I think we couldn’t have a better one to honor his memory.

Rest in Peace Arnie.
